Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I went on 9/14/2013 there pre opening day and they were super packed, even with how busy it was the staff did great, normally some staff would get stressed, but the kitchen kept pushing orders out as if it was a normal day, it too a while to receive my food but I'm not complaining, it was their first day of real service, and as in Peachtree City, it's always gonna be packed at the new restaurant for the first month or so to give everyone a chance to try, I had heard great things about Brixx's from Ty Moss on YouTube ( youtube.com/tymoss ) and this actually exceeded my expectations, I enjoy the meal I had, I love the décor as well, I will defiantly be returning

2nd attempt. Pizza was bland-all of them-and wait staff was inattentive. When you walk in the first thing you notice is that you don't smell pizza-that's your sign.

Just tried this new place which opened at the Avenue in Peachtree City. The location has proved challenging for past restaurants - with several closing down in the exact same location over the last decade. I dined at Brixx with my wife and 2 kids. We started with breadsticks, which were quite good! The kids pizza's (both cheese) were great. Just enough for the little ones, and pretty tasty. I had the BBQ Chicken pizza, which was perfect, save for one small detail. I simply did not like the BBQ sauce. It was all I could do to finish it! My wife had a Margherita, and she loved it. Ambience was great. Server staff was plenty, although quite young. Like most places in Peachtree City, the wait staff is typically high school age. They seemed a bit clueless at times. But in their defense, the place had just opened. I will definitely be back, and try some of the other pizzas!

finally got around to writing out a review. I've been about 4 times now to be fair... but so far the food has always been around 2/5 stars...personally a diornio would be cheaper and taste better... when it wasn't food, our server would be either talking to other servers while standing around or watching TV... also when I've came in each time, the hosts seemed to be lost and unsure of what they were doing and they claimed that the servers were responsible of cleaning tables, when i asked about that it was the other way around. So why are they hiring high schoolers, who wont do their job? As for the managers, the first 3 times it was an African American lady, we simply wanted our gift cards to be taken care of and she would hide in her office or sit down at a table and eat. So we felt like our time was wasted and disrespected. the final and 3rd time i saw her and I said "well i might say something on yelp about this..." she said, "to be honest, I don't give a shit. We only look at that if we're forced to. So say whatever you want child." So over all, crummy food, terrible service, dirty tables, and management doesn't care...I've tried to be fair but obviously these people don't care about running a good business. Personally I've been a waiter, host and manager in my life...I've never seen such laziness.

Me and my fiancé went here for our first time experience on Tuesday and the food was horrible we both got pizza and I got BBQ chicken pizza and it was horrible BBQ sauce. So I would not recommend these place at all.

Nice, clean place. The staff was friendly and helpful and the menu was deliciously interesting. We had the Zucchini Balsamic Toast it was fantastic, we had the jalapeno pimento cheese pizza and the 4x4 pizza, both also fantastic. Very thin, chewy, salty crust just the way I like it but I personally would've cooked just a little longer. Our only complaint if you want to call it that is that the entire restaurant is wide open and brightly lit. We wish there was some sort of divider between the bar and the room full of kids. I think my girlfriend nailed it when she said "this is a great lunch location but it's not a place you'd come hang out at at night".

My husband and I tried this place out today. No crowd & was seated in less than a minute. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The pizza wasn't what I thought it would be, but it was good. I'm not a big fan of thin crispy pizza, so if you are, then this would be perfect for you. They have a good selection of beer & wine. Again, the pizza was good & I would consider eating here again if I am ever in the area.

I had been wanting to try Brixx for a while, and finally got the chance today when I met up with a friend. She ordered a salad with spicy black bean dressing (and mentioned that they really *mean it* when they say "spicy.") She also mentioned that her salad was very good, and it looked great. Halfway through my own meal, I was wishing I had gotten a salad of my own. I went with the 10" chicken rosemary and wild mushroom pizza. The ingredients seemed fresh and the pairing was good, though there was a little *too much* rosemary, enough that I had to do a few checks to make sure I didn't have anything stuck in my teeth. The caramelized onions were delicous and the chicken definitely tasted as though it had been cooked on-site, not defrosted and microwaved as some chain restaurant chicken can taste. The problem was the bland crust and the staggering lack of sauce. The pizza was dry, and I sped through my beer pretty quickly as a result. I've honestly had frozen pizzas that were just as good as this one. We ordered a s'more dessert pizza to share, and I'll go ahead and tell you that the 900-odd calories in that thing calories aren't worth it. The chocolate, marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbles are good (though it came out lukewarm and the marshmallows weren't all that toasted) but it's served on the same boring, bland crust as the regular pizza. The service was good, and our order came out quickly and correctly. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, but I would go for a salad at Brixx and get dessert somewhere else!

I like their choice of beers for a place you don't even expect alcohol. They have great specials from time to time- get on their list. The pizza and salads are very good. And service has been good. Priced a tad high for the venue. They are not Ted's Momtana Grill., but they are good.

My husband, kids, brother-in-law and mother-in-law went to this restaurant because my mother in law needs gluten free and recommended it. We each ordered different items from the menu and my husband, brother in law, and I were all in agreement that it was the worse pizza we had ever tried. The kids ordered pasta, so no opinion from them. I don't ever want to go back to this place. P.S. The soy cheese was much too heavy and the sauce too light and flavorless. Yuck!

We have wanted to try this place since it opened however we just never got a chance to stop in. Reading the older reviews this may not have been a bad thing cause our experience was definitely super positive when did end up here. First this place is very family oriented from the chalk board runners at the booths to 'play dough' brought for the young ones to play with. The kids menu is dead simple pizza, pasta, and chicken fingers. You can customize your pasta and pizza to kid specifications which is great. The menu is pretty much as you'd expect lots special pizza options, few pasta dishes, calzones, and size able salads. A salad is easily split able for two and they will do so at request. So splitting a personal size pizza and salad for two makes a sensible deal not to mention a great way to sample different dishes. They do stock decent selection of draft beers including a few local breweries. They also have Ichiban root beer on tap served in frosted mugs. Normally this average establishment would be a mere three stars but the friendly service and family oriented atmosphere easily added another star for me.

We went here to get our first impression if the place last night. Party of 3 at 6:30 on a beautiful autumn Friday resulted in a 5-minute wait - not too bad. Got seated outside and here's how it went: Style - this is a pizza pub with a vague "corporate-but-not-that-corporate" feel to it, a la Mellow Mushroom. Pizzas are all 10", which to my stomach is enough for 1 (maybe 2 with an appetizer), not by the slice. All pizzas are specialty-style, no typical "choose toppings" selections. Beer has mostly draft selections of "thinking man's Budweiser" types - Fat Tire, Stella, etc, with some regional faves thrown in - it's a NC chain, so Asheville's Highland Brewing Co is a must. Food - it was me and my two kids, so I got the Wild Mushroom pizza for myself and they shared a kid's cheese and a kid's penne Alfredo. We also got the hummus trio to start. They seemed to like everything they had, and the kids choices are served in classic non-offensive style as expected. That said, my mushroom pizza was fantastic and well above what I expected. The variety of the mushrooms on hand (shiitakes, portobellos, and button) combined with the wood-fired crust gave it a total forest feel to complement the setting November sun. No sauce, which enhances the mushrooms, and thankfully no drenching of olive oil a la their greasier rival a mile or so north on 74. Post-grilling, a glen's worth of arugula was dressed on top. At $10, I was impressed. Service/etc - it took a few minutes to get attention after being seated, but fair enough as the place was packed. The outdoor seating is a nice place to be, though as we had a drainage pool in front of our table the restaurant could hopefully try to do something about that. Also, the Avenue outdoor lights were not coming on, so we literally left in the dark - I'd imagine that will get fixed soon now that the winter clocks are about to set in. Overall, I wouldn't have thought Peachtree City needed another pizza place but this has real promise. Will it survive the Avenue Curse? Watch this space.

The kind of pizza place that prides itself on thin style, crispy pizza that is "gourmet" because they put big chunks of interesting combination of stuff on a pizza and drizzle sauces on top. It always tastes good if you are looking for unique flavors but you should know what to expect. Definitely not traditional. Salads are excellent served in a big bowl and definitely enough for a meal or to share with a pizza.....if you like pears and gorgonzola cheese, you can even get matching pizza and salad. Prices for food are not bad. Beer, Wine, booze on the other hand is pricy. $6 for draft beer, avg price of wine $8, and liquor about $8 a drink. Good news is they usually have standard drink specials on any given night...1/2 price bottle of wine on Monday or 1/2 price wine by glass on Wed; $3.50 craft local beers on Tuesday and so on... check their website before you plan a trip to pick a day that has the special you are looking for if you plan to consume alcohol with your pizza. You can even get buy 2 entree's get 2 entree's free. With that 3 pizzas and 2 salads and consumption of craft beers on special and probably 4 cocktails, tab for 7 was over $100. Interior is nice and trendy and wait staff is paitent and friendly. Food delivery was faster than expected.

The service was very good. Attentive and friendly servers. Ordered an app that came out super quick. Pizza came out quick as well. We had the Caribbean Jerk pizza and it was absolutely delicious!! Decent draft beer selection. Clean restaurant.

The service here is terrible and the food not much better. We waited 12 minutes for someone to greet us on a Saturday night with only 4 tables being served indoors and 1 on the front patio. We were also passed over when a friend of the host came in after us and asked for a patio seat while we were being ignored. Me and my guest both got individual pizza's and salads and had the beer sample. The pizza's were dreadful! Some of the worst I've ever had. The beer was decent - craft beer from around the country. The salads are actually pretty decent and if I ever thought about returning it would be for them. For now, I will visit other neighborhood restaurants in the Peachtree City/Fayetteville/Newnan area and let my family, neighbors and friends know to avoid this place at all costs!

Returned there when my daughter was home for college and we were shopping the sales. I have to say that our entire experience was a complete change from my first visit and we had a delightful time. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine we had was delicious. We had the spicy BLT pizza and the Rustica pizza. Out of this world. There is something about the crust that I cannot get enough of. Love the daily bar specials. I guess you just have to give a place more than one chance and I am happy I did.

We have gone twice. If I had to rate the first visit, I would only give it a 1.5 star rating. Service was marginal and the pizza was cold and lacked flavor. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, so I withheld judgment until our 2nd visit... Well that was tonight... Again the service was marginal and the pizza was blah.... Nothing special, but an expensive meal.... Party of 6 had the same impression.... We will not be back anytime soon... Too bad..

Decent place, ordered a pizza. A little soggy, but good ingredients. I have had better...
